Changing Landscape

I created this in anticipation of spring in Texas. It is sixty days away, if you were wondering! The wildflowers between Ft Worth and Granbury cover the ground like a blanket. It used to be all rural, but over time is being developed. I’ll always cherish the drive to Ft. Worth in the spring time. It is beautiful and always changing.

Texas Moon

I created this on location in Benbrook . It is always an inspiring place to visit and paint with friends. When I first arrived the sun was slowly rising and the moon was setting. The sky was changing quickly. By the time I set up the moon was gone, but it was an image I wanted to include. I love that plein air painting gets us outside connecting to nature.
