I created this as a demo for the Mansfield Art Association. When planning this painting I did a value study and a small color study. I've also created a 9x12 of the same scene. When I put so much in the planning the execution is a spontaneous reaction.I touched it up a bit in the studio, signed it and called it finished.

My goal with this small study was to focus on the values of each shape. It forced me to create shapes with values attached. It was a fun practice and one I picked up from a friend, Beth Eschbach.
