I am so grateful for the spring like temperatures and took advantage of this gorgeous weather. A few friends met up at the De Cordova Bend park on Lake Granbury. Painting on location is a great way to gather information for future paintings. It is helpful with developing new ideas and color choices. After painting a few of us hiked to the back side of the dam. This offers another plein air opportunity.
